This page explains what happens to the information you send when you apply to Nodo.

Last updated: 9 October 2026.

Who is responsible

Juan Ramos is the data controller. Contact: hello@joinnodo.es.

What we collect

Only what you type into the application form. It has 13 questions:

your full name, email, startup name, website, LinkedIn link, role, title, stage, and where you are building; your answers to three open questions (what you are building, the hardest thing you are working through, and what you would do with a free Saturday); and, if you choose to, the name of the member who referred you.

We do not use cookies or analytics on this site, and nothing on it tracks you.

Why

To read your application and to contact you about it. If you are accepted, also to invite you to the group and to gatherings.

Legal basis

Your consent (article 6.1.a of the GDPR), which you give by submitting the form, and the steps needed to handle your request before any membership begins (article 6.1.b). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. This does not affect what was done before.

Where it is stored

These are external providers that process data on our behalf:

Notion stores applications in a private workspace that only the people who review applications can open. Vercel hosts the site and runs the function that receives the form. IONOS handles the email we send and receive at hello@joinnodo.es.

How long

If you are accepted, we keep your application while you are a member and for 12 months after. If you are not accepted, we delete it after 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you your information (access), correct it (rectification), delete it (erasure), stop us from using it (objection), or give you a copy you can move elsewhere (portability).

To use any of these rights, write to hello@joinnodo.es.

If you think we have handled your information badly, you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) at aepd.es.
